ABOUT ME

My name is Jasmine Harden. I am from Jackson, MS. I currently reside in Ridgeland, MS. I have three amazing boys. I graduated from Medical Assistant school in 2016 and have been in the medical field ever since. I am a member of Community Empowerment Outreach Fellowship C.O.G.I.C.. I love singing, dancing, swimming, spending time with family and friends. I love being apart of Community projects and helping out the community. Helping people is my passion. I look forward to being apart of this great opportunity competing in the Mississippi Plus America pageant!
WHY I CHOSE MY PLATFORM
I chose my platform because there is a lot of women that go untreated for so long just for not knowing the resources or getting mammograms. My platform is very important to me because of my personal experience in my family from Breast Cancer! I want to make sure women 40 and older know there are resources, how to get mammograms and do self testing to catch anything early. Even the women under 40 that have a family history of Breast Cancer need to be tested at an early age. This platform is very important and even though there are lots of sources I just want to spread a little more awareness to the cause.
