Hello my name is Robin Perry and I wanted to join MSPA because I always loved watching beauty pageants as a little girl but I always felt that there was one thing missing, there wasn’t anyone that looked like me. As a plus size woman I think that MSPA is a wonderful platform to show that we as plus women deserve to feel beautiful as well. After attending a paint party event hosted by Curvaceous Conversations and MSPA; seeing Carolyn Love in her sash & crown had me in awe. She was so elegant and beautiful! I knew at that moment that this was something I wanted to do. After surviving a pulmonary embolism in Summer 2020 I decided I would try new things. MSPA is the start of my new journey.
I am a mortgage service officer for a bank and an aunt to eight nieces and nephews. My hobbies include baking and crafting. I also enjoy watching 90s sitcoms and listening to 90s R&B. I spend my spare time working as Creative Director for my mom’s alterations business as well as owner of my online jewelry boutique. I am so excited to have been selected to be a part of the class of women competing in the Mississippi Plus America Pageant.
