WHY I CHOSE MY PLATFORM

I'm excited to choose Truevine Youth Ministry as my platform. I chose this platform because I wanted to motivate and encourage the youth in my community to stay motivated and reach their goals no matter what obstacles that they may face. I identify that the youth today struggle with the issues of the world and may need that additional encouragement, because they tend to seek a more direct approach when engaging with other individuals, which enhances their outlook of
various situations in an effort to obtain an understanding. I feel that I can relate to the youth because I dealt with a lot of dark times within my childhood, and there were times in my life where I wanted to give up, but through the many challenges I endured especially the challenge of
being a single mother, I realized that I had a lot to live for. I want to be that inspiration that the youth need to let them know that no matter what you have been through and or are going through, there is still hope that you can get through anything.
