ABOUT ME
.png)
Blessings! My name is Biancca Ball. I am 26 years old and is the mother of a beautiful 2-year-old daughter by the name of Serenity Falls. I grew up in a little town called West, Mississippi. Around the age of 14, I moved a couple of miles away from my hometown to a city called Kosciusko. While in Kosciusko, I was very involved in the city. I worked at the Oprah Winfrey Boys and Girls Club and obtained the title of Youth of the Year for 2014 and 2015. I graduated from Kosciusko High School in 2015. I attended Holmes Community College in Goodman where I obtained an AA degree in Arts. I then attend "THEE" Jackson State University and graduated with a Bachelor's degree in
Multimedia Journalism.
I am very outgoing and love to be around people. My passion is to motivate and encourage youth and young adults to be everything they want to be and more. I strive to make everyone around me feel beautiful regardless of flaws, skin color, weight, health conditions and mental issues. I grew up in church my whole life and my walk and faith in God is what got me to the place I am in today. I have always leaned and depended on the Lord and I strive to always allow him to lead me and guide in this thing called life. As Proverbs 3: 5-6 states: Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and do not lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make straight your paths.
In my free time, you can catch me spending time with my baby, out with family and friends, shopping, bowling, shooting pool, at the movies or just trying something new and exciting. While in Pre-K and Kindergarten, I competed in pageants so to able to do it again at my age, I am very excited and can not wait to see all of the positive aspects it
WHY I CHOSE MY PLATFORM
I was diagnosed as a diabetic in 2017. Truth be told, it's a miracle that I am still here today. I was in a prediabetic coma with my glucose reading at 900. Before then I never realized the importance of food intake as well as family history when it comes to diabetes. Diabetes awareness is something near and dear to my heart because I have close family members as well as myself that deal with diabetes and have had to change our lifestyle to stay healthy. Many people associate Diabetes with being overweight, but anyone of any size can become a diabetic. I hope to be able to educate more on the topic of diabetes awareness during this pageant.
