Miss Capitol City Plus America
Service Platform:
Idiopathic Intracranial Hypertension (IIH)

About Me
My name is Kyla Moaton, a 27yr old from Jackson, Mississippi with a background in both the beauty and healthcare field! My career and personal journey reflects my unwavering commitment to service, beauty, and self-love, making me a role model for those who seek to live authentically and boldly. My mission is to always uplift others, helping them navigate challenges while maintaining their sense of worth.
I’ve been a loctician for 7 years and I wouldn’t change my experience for nothing! I’m a loving dog mom of 2 and my fur babies make my day, everyday! I’m compassionate of everything I put my mind too!
As a skilled loctician and a compassionate medical assistant for over nine years, I bring a unique blend of expertise, creativity, and empathy to everything I do.

About my Platform
Idiopathic intracranial hypertension (IIH) is my platform because this condition is often under-recognized and misunderstood, yet it has a profound impact on those affected by it. I, myself, a current WARRIOR of IIH understand first hand how difficult it can be to live with such a complex condition. IIH is a rare disorder characterized by increased pressure inside the skull without a clear cause, and it can lead to debilitating symptoms like severe headaches, vision problems, and even permanent blindness if left untreated.
By choosing IIH as my platform, I aim to provide support for individuals living with the condition, advocate for better access to specialized care, and ultimately help improve the quality of life for those affected by it.
